MONSOON DEFICIENCY IN JAMMU AND KASHMIR- INDIA

Monsoon seems to disappoint the farmers of Jammu and Kashmir, northern India as rainfall this year is deficient by 26 per cent in Kashmir state and in Jammu by 76 per cent. The monsoon had started from the first week of July in the state but lack of strong current has caused less rainfall in the area. However, the scenario of Srinagar is quiet different with the rainfall exceeding 35 per cent than normal.
