Nepal
has received an international award by ‘The Convention on International Trade
in Endangered Species’ of Wild Fauna and
Flora (CITES) Secretariat for successfully controlling poaching of rare
wildlife for two years consistently. Among 180 signatory countries, Nepal was
the only country to be honored with the award.
