WILDLIFE DEPREDATION- NEPAL



Wild elephants and boars wandered away from Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve have destroyed thousands of hectares of corn and crop planted land in Udaypur district, eastern Nepal. This incident has forced to relocate dozens of families in the last two years. The area also faces flash floods every year since it is surrounded by Sapta Koshi River in the east and Triyuga River in the south adding more woes to the people.
