Pollution in the capital of Tibetan Plateau, Lhasa
has reached new height as the city was surrounded with the cloud of dust. Lhasa
city, at 3,700 meters above sea level is one of the highest cities on the
world, and recently considered as one of the 10 cities with the country’s best
air quality but due to the pollution, visibility in some areas was reduced and
the city's air quality index also exceeded 500 which is the highest level.
