Use of pesticides has decreased by 66.6 per cent in Chitwan, central
Nepal during the first quarter of current fiscal year in comparison to the
previous year. Its use has reduced from 300L to 100L however the district
agricultural development office claimed that there has not been expected
progress to reduce the use of insecticide in the area.
