Central Zoo in Kathmandu has taken responsibility of Red panda which
was found to be in critical condition in Rammechap district, central Nepal. The
panda in captivity was able to survive only because of the air conditioned room
and good care by the zoo officials. The zoo has also decided to bring a
separate panda couple for breeding and the cage worth NPR 3.5 million is
expected to be ready within this month.
