Another cold day at Macoun Marsh (Canada)

 All fluffed up to keep warm!  American Goldfinch

 Hermit thrush taken by the cold- usually they are found farther South this time of year. 
 
 A White-breasted nuthatch breaks a sunflower seed pressed against the bark.

With temperature lows around -30°C, it is not surprising that it takes a toll on wildlife.  Photos by Mike Leveille
