TEA FACTORIES SHUTDOWN IN EAST- Nepal



Many tea factories in eastern Nepal are forced to shut down as drought has affected the output of green tea leaves. This in turn has hit the livelihood of small holders and tea workers. Most of the mills receive only 200-250 kg of leaves although their daily processing capacity is 15 tons.
