MAKING WAY FOR ELEPHANTS- INDIA

By the end of this year, the Karbi people living in Ram Terang village (19 households) for more than 50 years will be migrating to new village -Bogijan- which is about 2.5 km away. This relocation will clear human settlements along Kalapahar-Doigrung elephant corridor that connects Nambor-Doigrung wildlife sanctuary with Kaziranga National Park.
