People in Bhutan are attracted to the concept of green house garden as
variety of crops can be grown and as there was support from the agriculture
ministry. About 60 farmers in nine groups in Bumthang have established green
houses as their workplace for growing crops and vegetables. Promoting group
farming and organic crops is the main objective behind green house construction
as reported by agriculture officer in Dzongkhag.
