The Seventh meeting of the Conference of
the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena
Protocol on Biosafety (COP-MOP 7) and the Twelfth meeting of the
Conference of the Parties to
the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 12) will be held in
PyeongChang, Republic of Korea from 29 September to 3 October 2014 and
from 6 to 17 October 2014 respectively.
In addition, I am pleased to inform you that the theme of COP 12 will be
“Biodiversity for Sustainable Development”.
Additional
information on the meetings, including the High-Level Segment of the
twelfth meeting of the Conference of the Parties, will be made available
in due course.
