On the occasion of World Water Day, a campaign to
clean up Trishuli River was initiated by different organizations including Nepal
Tourism Board and Nepal Association of Rafting Agency. A trend of dumping
garbage on the river from 12 different districts including Kathmandu has galvanized
different organizations to rid the river from pollution.
