Recent events at Macoun Marsh in Ottawa, Canada
Grade 6 students from St-Laurent Academy had a great time this week drilling through the ice to obtain micro samples!
Looking for water under the ice.
Observing nematodes, diatoms, and cyanobacteria.
More samples to research.
The small sharp-shinned hawk (Only 25-35 cm). Seen on January 15, 2014.
