Recent events at Macoun Marsh in Ottawa, Canada

Grade 6 students from St-Laurent Academy had a great time this week drilling through the ice to obtain micro samples!

 Looking for water under the ice.

 Observing nematodes, diatoms, and cyanobacteria.
