Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust
Durrell's famous orangutan mother-and-daughter Dana and Kea were snuggling down for a wintery weekend. 2013's leftover Durrell literature has been recycled here to give them extra cosiness, and Volunteer Keeper Mark got these shots on his iPhone!
Over in Sumatra, there's been a victory for their wild cousins, as Palm Oil Company PT Kallista Allam have finally been taken to task and fined $9million (and $21 Million compensation to reforest) for burning Aceh's precious forests. It's a win for #SOCP and all who support them... and proof that the world is watching!
