WOMEN SWITCHING TO COMMERCIAL FARMING- NEPAL



The women of Bhardeu Village Development Committee (VDC) in Sindhupalchowk district, central Nepal have replaced traditional farming by commercial farming. They have started cultivating tomatoes instead of maize, mustard and wheat. The switch has improved financial conditions for families of the district.
