The negotiations under SBSTTA are still going on in Montreal. Today parties mostly discussed about Marine- and Coastal Biodiversity, particularly about underwater noise, marine protected areas (EBSAs), marine debris as well as ocean acidification and coral bleaching. Delegates also exchanged views on the emerging issue of Synthetic Biology. The GYBN delegation is busy following the negotiations, meeting with delegates and preparing our input.
