MAGGI BANNED

The sale and display of Maggi noodles has been temporally banned in Thimpu, for safety reasons as it has been found unsafe and hazardous for human consumption. Bhutan Agriculture and Food Regulatory Authority (BAFRA) officials have sealed around 1,000 cartoons of Maggi noodles and 178 cartoons of Maggie cup noodles.

TECHNOLOGICAL TRIUMPH

The two major problems, preventing the track from clipping due to ice melting on the roadbed, and improving thermal stability that led to Tibet's first railway, southern China have been possible due to the effort of scientist’s. MAGNIFICENT LULANG FOREST SEA

EARTHQUAKE TRIGGERED LANDSLIDE - CHINA

A landslide caused by the earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale on Tuesday has killed One while injuring two in Kyirong, Tibet, southern China. The buildings were also destroyed as tremors were felt at Lhasa, the capital city of Tibet.

EARTHQUAKE TERROR

The deadly earthquake had killed at least 17 people in Tibet, southern China on Saturday. While a 5.3 magnitude quake has cut off telecommunication lines and destroyed several buildings in Nyalam County, Kyirong County and neighboring regions. The national road No. 318, about two kilometers away from Nyalam County have developed deep cracks.

THREAT TO BLACK-NAKED CRANES- CHINA

Problem of soil erosion resulting from deep ploughing of fields to increase grain output has endangered the living condition of water birds especially black-necked cranes on wetlands of Lhunzhub, Tibet, southwestern China. They are the only kind of cranes living at such extremely cold and oxygen deficient high altitude feeding on roots, seeds of plants, small frogs, fishes, snakes and insects.
