Number of Tibetan antelopes in Tibet autonomous region,
southwestern China has increased without migration. According to the Tibet
Forestry Investigation and Project Research Institution, there are about
200,000 Tibetan antelopes living in the area. Around 80 per cent of Antelopes
live in Chantang National Natural Protection Area which has provided preferred
habitat for feeding and mating. Breeding without migration will increase
population in future.
