Youth will attend WGRI-5 and SBSTTA-18 sessions, that will take place in Montreal, Canada between June 16
to 20 and June 23 to 28 2014.
The GYBN Steering
Committee has liaised with the CBD Secretariat and worked
hard to assist several members of our network with solving
accreditation, visa and funding issues.
We are happy to let you know that a small delegation of eight
GYBN members from Brazil, Canada, Germany, Ghana, India, Malawi
and Sri Lanka, who have been successful in raising funding from national and
international sources, will be participating in the upcoming
CBD-meetings in Montreal.
Compared to other UN-processes, eight might not sound like a big
number, however this is the first time in the CBD-process that a
small youth delegation will be present at an intersessional meeting.
