PROJECT HORNBILL- A SUCCESS STORY- INDIA
The
Hornbill Nest Adoption Program
(HNAP), a conservation effort which was launched a year ago to protect Hornbills in the fringe area of Pakke Wildlife Sanctuary in East Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh has been a big success.
The project built about 29 artificial nests out of which 16 nests were found to be occupied and 4 of them were damaged due to fire.
