SERIAL WILDLIFE KILLER NABBED- NEPAL



Pemba Tamang, who was arrested on the charge of poaching and smuggling wildlife parts has confessed of killing 20 musk deer  so far since last 19 years at different places of Solukhumbu District, Eastern Nepal. He also admitted that he had killed two Lophophorus, a blue sheep and poached 37 Yarshagumba (Cordyceps sinesis) from Sagarmatha National Park, Solukhumbu. Similarly, there is another report of musk smuggling at Khandbari, Shankhuwa Sabha, Eastern Nepal. A forest guard was detained with a musk of deer and 433 kg of Satuwa from his house.
