The first clean
development mechanism project in the country, Dagachu hydro project, will
commission in a fortnight. The 126MW project has begun filling its 7.8 km
headrace tunnel and will begin wet testing the electromechanical installations.The
project starts generating power with the start of wet testing and trial running
of the electro-mechanical equipment in the powerhouse.
