15 TIGERS CONFIRMED IN RMNP- BHUTAN



The Royal Manas National Park (RMNP) in Bhutan and Manas National Park in India has started a transboundary tiger-monitoring programme. Camera traps have captured 25 tigers in the parks, 13 in RMNP, 11 in MNP and two found in both the parks. RMNP is also home to other large mammals like Asiatic water buffalo, gaur, sambar and Asian elephants.  Eight of the 11 cat species found in Bhutan have also been spotted in the park.
