TRANSBOUNDARY TIGERS THRIVE- NEPAL



According to a report ‘Tigers of the transboundary Terai Arc landscape’ prepared after a survey along the conservation areas of Nepal and India, about 239 tigers were found among which 89 were male, 144 were female and the sex of remaining six were not recognized yet. Of them, four tigers were found in Parsa Wildlife Reserve, 78 in Chitwan national park, 44 in Banke National Park, 13 in Suklaphanta Wildlife, five in trans boundary area and remaining tigers were found in India.
