GYBN thanks the German government

This morning GYBN had some interesting guests in the Youth Meeting Room: German Vice-Environmental Minister Rita Schwarzelühr-Sutter along with Carsten Träger and Klaus-Peter Schulze (both members of the German Parliament) as well as Elsa Nickel and Nicola Breier from the German Ministry for the Environment took time to meet with GYBN to learn more about how young people are making a difference at COP12. Ms. Schwarzelühr-Sutter reaffirmed the German government’s commitment to support young people and their right to raise their voices in the negotiations under the CBD.

GYBN thanks the German government for their continuous support to our network and youth participation in the CBD from the very beginning! Thank you for standing behind us!!!
