In spite of different employment opportunities created by the hydropower
project in Samcholing village in Trongsa district central Bhutan, locals have
been suffering from several problems including dust and vibration in houses due
to the plying of heavy project vehicles. Cattles have to eat grass covered with
dust and water sources are also getting polluted.
