Kumroj
VDC located in the eastern belt of Chitwan district, central Nepal is recently
declared as a model village for biogas promotion. Almost After the installation
of biogas plant none of the household of the VDC now collect fire wood. Thus, more
than 3,435 tons of fire wood is being saved every year and the emission of
greenhouse gases has also been significantly reduced.
