'ZERO POACHING YEAR' SUCCESS IN RHINO CONSERVATION IN CHITWAN- NEPAL



Chitwan National Park (CNP) located in central Nepal has achieved biggest achievement for the second time in saving endangered species of one horned rhino. Not a single rhino poaching occurred throughout the year since February 17 of 2013. Moreover, CNP guards have also nabbed 44 poachers. With this effort now the park alone has conserved 503 rhinos in total.
