CONSERVATIONIST PLEAD TO SAVE WILD ELEPHANT- NEPAL



Frequent attacks on wild elephant by people as well as concerned authorities in the national parks of Nepal has compelled wildlife conservationist to plead for the safety of wild elephants. Recently 40 year old tusker died in Chitwan National park after a team of national park authorities sedated it at Amiliya village in order to put a radio collar around its neck. However 12 people lost their life due to the elephant attacks in Bara, Parsa and Rautahat central Nepal.
