NEW TECNOLOGIES FOR WILDLIFE CONSERVATION- NEPAL
Chitwan
National Park (CNP), in central Nepal is home for several endangered wildlife
species like one-horned rhino and the Royal Bengal Tiger. The modern
technologies have been introduced by the park authorities in attempt to save
these vulnerable wild species. They are using helicopter and drone installed
with camera to patrol around the park through the sky to control poaching. Park
has already set up 123 security posts and it has deputed 1,100 security
personnel for effective conservation practices.
