Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,
northwestern Pakistan has only one office in Peshawar, where the Environment
Protection Agency (EPA) headquarters is situated. The EPA of Peshawar consists of 73 employees. However
not all these post are functional, and it lacks the capacity to monitor
environmental protection, which is one of its prime responsibilities.
