Bhutanese government has charged
8 person, from Kilkhorthang in Tsirangare district, southern Bhutan, for the
illegal hunting of wild boars and monkeys. Locals claim that the animals destroyed
their crops and left very little for them to harvest and the government
provides no compensation.
