Long standing water
shortage in Pachkhal VDC, Kavrepalanchowk district, central Nepal, is creating
havoc among the local people. The problem remains in spite of the efforts of
local people since 2006. In Lalitpur district 120 rainwater collection and
ground water recharging plants have been installed to sort out a similar
problem.
