INDIA AND PAKISTAN ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF INDUS RIVER: REPORT



Scientific and policy collaboration across national and disciplinary boundaries between India and Pakistan is vital for the conservation of Indus River Basin reports a study. The researchers have warned that water removals from the Indus are outpacing natural rates of renewal. The study was conducted by Researchers from the Washington-based Stimson Centre and water experts from the Sustainable Development Policy Institute in Pakistan and the Observer Research Foundation in India.
