More than 17,000 solar lamps are being
given to students in Rawalpindi Division, while 11,000 lamps would be distributed
among students of Rawalpindi District. The Solar lamps are being distributed to
the students on the basis of merit. The government is spending Rupees 2.5
billion under this program. This will help students to prepare for their exams
even during power outage.
