Rawalpindi Cantonment
Board’s (RCB) water supply department has failed to carry out adequate
maintenance of 28 water filtration plants. Water supply department of the civic
body has restricted its services to only VIP localities forcing common man to
consume contaminated water. A filtration plant on Peshawar Road was demolished
during the road expansion and awaits reconstruction.
