ELEMENTARY AND JUNIOR HIGH STUDENTS VISIT BIODIVERSITY HOT-SPOTS

As part of a very strong biodiversity program, a group of young students will be visiting Peru and the Galapagos Islands in 2 weeks.  The school is St-Laurent Academy in Ottawa, Canada.  These same students have been researching and cataloging species at their local Macoun Marsh.

The Galapagos Islands were made famous by Charles Darwin who helped to uncover some of the basic concepts behind organic evolution.  These images were taken by Eric Gauthier from Panama.
