MACOUN MARSH UPDATE- CANADA

 

Common redpolls have descended on the marsh in large numbers.  Today I counted about 50 individuals.  This is a northern bird that does not always visit in winter. 

 

Pine grosbeaks continue to enjoy winter fruit.  Mostly females are seen.
