HERDSMAN FOR PROTECTION OF DIVERSE ANIMALS - CHINA

From many years 43 volunteers worked to protect the animal diversity of Qinghai Lake of Tibet. Most of them are herdsmen, who are working in a sheep-breeding squad in Gangca County, northwest China's Qinghai Province. They spend several hours each day at the lake for observation and record-keeping. Bureau has been using GPS technology for monitoring daily life and migration of the birds and sweeping measures to protect wild animals by recovery of the wetland.
