BEAR BILE TRADERS ABDUCTED- NEPAL



A team from the Metropolitan Police Range, Hanumandhoka, Kathmandu on Friday arrested four people in Thamel with bear bile. According to investigators, two of the racketeers' used to push body parts of endangered animals from their home districts to Kathmandu and another would look for foreign buyers. A tola (11.66 gm) of bear bile fetches racketeers up to Rs 20,000. Bear bile is believed to break down gallstones.
