ENVIRONMENT-FRIENDLY ELECTRICITY PROJECT IN LHASA- CHINA



Along the line of the Qinghai-Tibet, Direct Current Electricity Network Project provides electricity of 600 million kilowatt/hour this year. This is equivalent to saving 748,000 tons of coal and reducing 1.95 million tons of carbon emission. The project effectively reduced the use of coal thus protecting the fragile environment of Tibet
