After a three
month long migration for breeding to Hoh Xil Natural Reserve in the
northwestern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, a herd of about 20,000 Tibetan
antelopes have returned to Tibet and other parts of the region. According to the
reserve authority, who were monitoring the migration process through satellite,
says that this year the antelopes were influenced by the swelling of lakes and
flood water in the plateau.
