Tibetan plateau has been more warm and humid
in the past five decades compared to the
last 2,000 years and may still get warmer in the near future according to
report published by Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research. On the other hand,
the plateau’s ecosystem has been improving due to increase in temperate and
enhanced conditions for forest cover.
