Yarchagumba (Ophiocordyceps
sinensis), has become new identity for Nepal. Yarchagumba, one of
the most expensive medicinal herb, can provide economic prosperity if international
market is adequately explored and middlemen are kept at bay. The price of
yarchagumba in the local market is around NPR 3.50 million per kg but can fetch
upto NPR 10 million a kg in the international market according to experts.
