RECORD RAINFALL- NEPAL

The mid-west and far-west regions of Nepal received the highest rainfall on august 15 since the installation of Meteorological station by the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.  On August 15, Chisapani station that lies between Bardiya of mid-west and Kailali of far-west regions recorded 493.8 mm rainfall while the highest record measured in 1981 was 375.9 mm.
