In Thimpu-Lobesa highway
section, over thousands of matured trees have been cut as part of a road widening
campaign. Mainly the species were of mixed conifer, cypress, pine, walnut and
oak. Natural Resources Development Corporation Limited (NRDCL) was the
lumberjack.
