Recent
tiger count has showed only one tiger in Parsa Wildlife Reserve. Five years
ago, four adult tigers were counted in the reserve. As a part of the National
Tiger Census 2012/2013, the tigers were counted by using camera trap method.
Altogether 124 cameras were installed in an area of 400 square kilometers.
