30 MILLION FROM ENTRANCE FEE- Nepal

Community forests of Jajarkot in Western Nepal collected around NPR 30 million (USD 350,000) as entrance fee. They charge NPR 500 for locals and NPR 1100 for outsiders who come to collect Yarshagumba (Cordyceps sinensis). Everyday more than 50 people go to the different districts of Hilly regions in Western Nepal to collect the rare species.
