TUKI RESCUES RARE BIRD FROM ANJAW FOR REHABILITATION- INDIA



Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Nabam Tuki brought a rare bird rescued by locals of Hawai, the district headquarters of Anjaw district, for rehabilitation to Eagle nest Wildlife Sanctuary, Jamiri. The bird, which was brought on Thursday, 3rd of January, 2012, was identified as a local turkey by the senior director of Wildlife Trust of India, Rahul Kaul. The Himalayan state is home to many endangered wildlife species, which have been attracting the global community, particularly ornithologists and animal experts.
