Police have arrested four persons at Sonari
in Sivasagar district, Jorhat ,Assam on charge of killing a leopard in their
village. They were arrested on the basis of video footage shot by local TV
channels. They had shouted slogans against the police and the forest department
for their failure to check man-animal conflict in the area.
